After Al and Brigid were done with flying their toy plane, we headed back across the street to the house where their parents were waiting for us, on the porch. After a quick sip of his dad's water, Al decided he wanted to play football in the backyard. Which, after a few tosses in the air, the football got lost. His dad offered to help him find it. Al even searched on his own for a bit, weaving under the big plants and flowers to search for his ball and anything interesting.
Once the search was over, Al decided he wanted to play with his bubbles again. This time the whole family joined in.
After bubbles, Jennifer recommended Al ride his bike! He was so excited to show us his custom made bike. How cool it was!
Once Al had a few rides down the hill in the backyard, he decided he wanted to play ball. His mom, Jennifer helped him locate the various balls in the yard to help him choose the best one. In his search he found a stuffed angry bird in the garden.
While Al was playing with his ball, Brigid played her violin for us.
After Brigid's performance we decided to explore the garden as our final adventure of the day.
Shortly after, Brigid emerged from inside with her iPod.
The kids headed inside before I left and we were able to grab our last few shots, inside. Al wanted to watch YouTube videos on tornados and Brigid happily got him set up on the computer, with a snack.
After a few videos, we took a short break to play with his legos and Jett.
As I was leaving, Brigid hung out by the door with Jett.
And then Jett escaped. (Its okay, they caught her, not without letting her roam the garden's first!)
This is the day in the life of a child.
