Hi friends! Welcome back! I am thrilled about this session for three reasons: Piper, Boston and Merideth.
Piper (on right) and Boston (on left) are two of the sweetest gals I have ever photographed. Its true, most pups have the attention span of a two year old child, but these girls truly did so well during this session. You'll see! :) So did Merideth (middle), their momma! I don't know who broke a sweat first, me or Merideth?!
A lot of people ask, "What is a lifestyle session?". Very simply, its real. I love the real, the imperfect. Its you, your pet, your family, whatever you have chosen to have photographed, in real life, captured. It could take place in your home or favorite park, so long as, we don't pose too much and you be yourself. Its honest, relatable and will be cherished for years to come.
In my opinion, being a lifestyle photographer is about capturing the in between moments. Also, the details in our lives that are often over looked. I have always been grateful for the small details with anything in my life and looking back I have never regretted spending my time photographing them for my clients.
Below are some of my favorites from our session today:

Let's get back to Merideth! I met Merideth through mutual friends and connections on Facebook. Merideth has a full time job in accounting and finance and she also pet sits! (see her business card below) She invited me to her group on Facebook called "Pet Sidekick". Merideth is every bit of a true advocate for animals in our community and beyond. Merideth's group on Facebook hosts over 1,400 members! Wowza. The posts in the group consist of missing pet info, updates on rescues, animals up for adoption, etc. This group was started by Merideth as a way to visually communicate with her clients while they were out of town, as she cared for their pets. (which she still does!) The group is a positive place for animal lovers to help, grow and share in the joys and hard times we encounter as pet parents. I can relate, as I have had pets my entire life. Dogs, cats, bunnies, hamsters, fish..to name a few! So it is truly refreshing to see so many folks come together to share in the lives of not only our pets but the one's in need.
A week or so ago, I placed an advertisement on Facebook offering Pet Lifestyle Sessions for $45. (This fee is per pet and includes travel and same day delivery via online gallery) I am a full time photographer, and its winter, and what do photographers do in winter? Workshops. Re-brand. Spend time with family. Well, these sessions take place indoors, usually. So it was a perfect time to offer them! I am still offering these sessions until April 1, at the discounted rate. Please email me at [email protected] for more info and to book your session!
I hope you enjoy the photos! Thanks for reading!
