The two met as friends and quickly fostered a close, intimate friendship that ended up proving to be more. Brittany and Lindsay decided to move forward in their relationship and shared the joyful news with close friends and their church family.
Their relationship, as many, was not without ups and downs. Though, considering this, they have remained true and steadfast in their love and commitment to one another. Because, love wins. :) I am so amazed at their devotion and honor of their relationship, despite all odds. They have cheerleaders in their church family and in their friends and family, yet, I do see that they support one another without fail. They are the best of friends. They makes decisions together, they communicate, they have REAL conversation. Their bond embodies love in its truest form.
The world is truly a better place with people like them in it.
For their engagement, they traveled to Asheville, North Carolina for an extended weekend trip. Early Saturday, Brittany took Lindsay to the top of a mountain and watched the sunrise with mimosas, in hand. Brittany then asked Lindsay to marry her. She excitedly accepted! Following Brittany's proposal, they hiked along a trail while the sun rose in the sky. They said it was a beautiful day. :)
Later that evening, Lindsay took Brittany to her favorite restaurant, White Duck Taco Shop. After dinner they headed to a book store where Lindsay gave Brittany a book, her favorite childhood book, "Where the Wild Things Are" with a little note on each page. Lindsay then proposed to Brittany. :) She happily accepted.
They had a book made of their engagement day with photos, it was beautiful.
They married a little over a year later in October of 2014, in Virginia, surrounded by family and friends. Afterwards, they honeymooned in Costa Rica for a week!
This is a day in the life of a married couple.
Thanks for reading friends! -Danielle
