After meeting all of the animals, Melinda and Andrea stopped to clean up before we headed downtown to the Farmer's Market.
This is a day in the life of a married couple.
Meet the Bianchi's, Melinda and Andrea. (and Daisy and Meeko) :) This month's post in my year long series titled "A Day in the Life", will focus on a day in the life of a married couple. Melinda met Andrea in France while she was overseas teaching English and modeling part time. Andrea (also a model) was one of the photographer's at an event she was photographed at. They met over photography and the rest, well..its a happy ending. :) Melinda and Andrea's house is full of color, light and life. I mean life in the figurative and literal sense as they have seven bunnies, three fish, two dogs and a very large snake. Toy box above is for those two sweet pups Daisy and Meeko, pictured above. The dogs are obedient, well mannered, loving and SO HAPPY. Daisy has the best smile. :) Melinda and Andrea began to date while Melinda was still teaching English in France. Melinda, quite the student herself, holds two Bachelor's Degrees and one Master's with future plans to obtain a PhD in Dentistry! #GIRLPOWER The moment I entered the house I smelled food. And coffee. Not just coffee, espresso. Andrea had just finished cooking breakfast and offered me an espresso, using this cool machine in their kitchen. I will never, ever turn down an espresso. Especially, when its served in a tiny little mug. :) Melinda and Andrea KNOW how to eat and cook! Their plans for after breakfast were to head to the Farmer's Market to find some purple basil. When I asked Melinda what she used it for she said, "Everything. Its not as potent as traditional basil and its colorful, I love it". Melinda and Andrea finished breakfast then we headed outside to feed the bunnies and play with the pups. New babies! They were so sweet and super soft. I wanted to take them home! After meeting all of the animals, Melinda and Andrea stopped to clean up before we headed downtown to the Farmer's Market. Melinda and Andrea are the definition of love birds. They have been married two years now. Andrea moved to the states to be with Melinda two months after her teaching job ended in France. It was summer in France at that time and Andrea still had weddings left to photograph, which delayed his departure to the states. Once Andrea arrived in the states, the couple continued to date for eight more months before getting engaged. Melinda and Andrea wed on a friend's property in Florida on their one year anniversary. Melinda grew up in the town that her and Andrea now live in. They have plans to relocate once Melinda starts school. After some front porch photos, we decided to venture downtown to the Farmer's Market. Melinda brought her own re-usable bag that features photos of the couple throughout various moments in their lives together. Sweetest. Bag. Ever. Melinda and Andrea are wonderful communicators. Andrea has a wonderful, French accent and his English is perfect. Melinda does in fact speak French. She took years of instruction in high school and minored in it in College. They do still actively speak French in their household. Melinda and Andrea do everything together. Its blissful and sweet. They stopped by to get a fresh pressed juice from Juiced by Beverlee and Andrea ensured Melinda had her fair share. Melinda and Andrea are partners, in the truest sense. They are affectionate, they communicate, they are kind, respectful and just so ding dang cute. I wish Andrea and Melinda the very best in everything they have planned for their future. This is a day in the life of a married couple. Part Two of this post will feature another married couple and will be posted next Sunday, August 23. Thanks for reading friends! :) Danielle
